Test Administration


American Councils is an official test administrator for the Educational Testing Service (ETS). We administer the SAT, GRE, and Institutional TOEFL.

 

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)


SAT - (Scholastic Aptitude Test) - required of all high school graduates in the US
SAT I: general exam (analytical, verbal)
SAT II: (specialized subjects-i.e., Physics, Biology, foreign languages, etc)

Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

GRE - (Graduate Record Exam)-required for entrance to most US universities. Scores are valid for five years after the date of testing. To register online or to download an information bulletin, please visit the GRE website at http://www.gre.org/


Institutional TOEFL Program (ITP)

The Institutional TOEFL is very similar to a paper-based TOEFL exam. Any school or organization wishing to test the knowledge of their students or staff may order this exam one month in advance through American Councils. The scores of this exam are available 2 weeks from the test date and are for use by that institution only. They are not transferable or valid for any period of time following testing.
