EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State-supported network of hundreds of advising centers around the world (400 centers in 170 countries). EducationUSA advisers provide students with accurate, comprehensive, and current information about how to apply to U.S. colleges and universities. EducationUSA staff also work with U.S. higher education professionals to promote international student recruitment.
The EducationUSA office in Baku is part of American Councils and is supported by U.S. State Department.

EducationUSA with support of the US Embassy and the US State Department host two fairs each year: The EducationUSA Fair and the Alumni Fair.

The EducationUSA Fair is an annual educational fair organized by EducationUSA with support of US Embassy in Baku and US State Department. US University representatives visit Baku to recruit students from Azerbaijan.

Alumni Fair organized by EducationUSA gives US Universities a chance to recruit students from Azerbaijan with the help of their local alumni. Alumni provide information to Azerbaijani students about their US alma-mater, application process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

Sustainable Outreach Program is conducted in the regions of Azerbaijan. EducationUSA visits regions and gives presentations about the US Education system, required documentation and application process for US Universities with further guidance on the process of applying to accredited US colleges and universities.
Additionally, EducationUSA hire up to 3 Regional EducationUSA advisers each year to promote EducationUSA locally and deliver a series of lectures to interested audiences about study opportunities in USA.

Competitive College Club (CCC) is an intensive group advising program that assists top secondary school students who want to be competitive applicants to U.S. colleges and universities. Students meet year-round and participate in lectures, book clubs, community service activities, bi-weekly meetings, movie nights, cross-cultural exercises and test preparation. Students also learn from one another and develop a network of like-minded, academically focused people. Currently, CCC Baku has 20 members who are motivated and talented high school students actively involved in social activities. CCC members have participated in Eco-recycling summer camp, clean-up on the seaside and are actively attending TOEFL classes and conversation clubs. EducationUSA CCC assists the best and the brightest students and is open to all students in a city/town of any nationality, ethnicity, and economic background.
