Opening ceremony of the US-Azerbaijan Education Center

 

The opening ceremony of the US-Azerbaijan Education Center was held on June 11th to celebrate the new home of American Councils, IREX, BEIC and the US-Educated Alumni Association (AAA). Alumni of all programs participated and supported us. We hope to see many people at the USAEC in the future to learn about educational opportunities in America.

American Councils Baku is Moving!

American Councils in Baku, Azerbaijan is pleased to announce our move into the newly-established U.S.-Azerbaijan Education Center as of May 20th.

 

With support from the US Embassy Baku, American Councils, the Baku Education Information Center (BEIC) (EducationUSA partner), IREX and the US-Educated Azerbaijan Alumni Association (AAA) will share a conference, training, and library space that will be available for U.S. education-related programming, events, and alumni activities.

 

“We are delighted to help bring the Embassy’s primary education and exchange partners together at the Caspian Business Center,” said Terry Davidson, Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy.

 

“Ambassador Bryza and our entire Embassy team believe that our investment in young people and study in the United States is the best investment we can make in the long-term strength of bilateral relations,” he said.  “Having IREX, American Councils, BEIC and the AAA under the same roof will be a great benefit for both our alumni community and young students thinking about studying in the United States.”
